I feel like this month didn't go by as quickly. But then I took a step back and realized in this month so much changed!
What he's doing:
- Eating food on a regular basis. Just this week he's moved from just dinner to lunch and dinner with some cereal munching in between. Can you say stinky diapers? Wow.
-New sounds. Currently working on "dadadadada". He doesn't know the association with the Dr. but we're helping him. He also knows "yayayayaya" and "ooooooo". But you have to purse your lips for the latter like he does.
-Socializing. He's not much for being on his own. For a short 30 minutes in the afternoon he will sit on his quilts and play with his box but after that someone has to be entertaining him. He wants to be a part of the crowd. Specifically on the adult level. None of this baby level business.
-Observing. When he sees something we have or we're doing and he doesn't have it, the fists and screaming commence. At the dinner table he wants our cups, our silverware, our food on our plates.
-MOVING. Constantly. Always. Even in his crib.
Loves:
-Anything that makes noise. His shaker, jingle ball, bells, necklace of large beads. Specifically anything he can use to make noise.
-Music. He's got some moves.
-Sitting up. He's not into moving himself around. He just loves to sit up. When he falls over he does baby crunches in an attempt to right himself and if that doesn't work, he'll let you know.
Now for the "ooing" and "awwing"!
